At this point, NR2003 is abandonware. I doubt anyone is going to come after anyone like what happened back in the mid 2000s.
Hit up Youtube. There's links there that are active.Where can I find the download link for the full game? All the links I find are dead
Thanks for the patch, man. I tried it recently and works perfect. No need to turn off the stupid DEP anymore. Thanks again. So, as some of you have pointed out in the past, if you are attempting to run NR2003 on a newer operating system, the older No-CD Patch will no longer work. Instead, it will boot up the game, and will then crash when you go to a race and attempt to hit 'drive'. Now, there's two different ways to fix this. One involves going into your system and disabling DEP, or you can use the newer No-CD patch available here.
The newer No-CD patch is tested and works perfectly fine on newer systems (I myself am running NR2003 on Windows 10), so no worries about having to disable DEP.
Hopefully this helps anyone out who is having issues!
The No-CD patch I linked in the OP eliminates the need to disable DEP though.I think this video helps those with newer Windows 10 computers who can't turn off DEP. It worked for me
Yeah I tried your patch and for some reason it didn't workThe No-CD patch I linked in the OP eliminates the need to disable DEP though.
Strange. You went through the necessary stuff like patching it before using the No-CD one and then restarting your PC?Yeah I tried your patch and for some reason it didn't work
I did all that and still didn't workStrange. You went through the necessary stuff like patching it before using the No-CD one and then restarting your PC?
Running in compatibility mode?I did all that and still didn't work
I tried everything. It didn't work for me. I use an HP desktop. Could that be the problem?Running in compatibility mode?
This is honestly the first I'm hearing of anyone having issues with this patch
No clue. I use an HP Pavilion laptop, and it runs totally fine.I tried everything. It didn't work for me. I use an HP desktop. Could that be the problem?
I know this is over two years old, but I need help getting this set up for somereason after it goes through the intro videos it wont do anything and just closes out, even rebooted I don't know why it won't work. So, as some of you have pointed out in the past, if you are attempting to run NR2003 on a newer operating system, the older No-CD Patch will no longer work.
